How to Get Involved

Want to get involved in Project SHINE?  
Then follow these steps:   

1)  Sign up for one of the Project SHINE courses in the fall or spring. During registration, look for posters and e-mails with the list.  You'll find full credit courses, as well as quarter credit courses.  
2)  Complete the Pre-Survey and Coaching Sign-up.  Once the semester begins, you will need to complete the Pre-Service Survey and sign up for a time slot (Jan 28th-Feb 1st).  Contact the SHINE coordinator to get the password if you don't
already know it. Once you've completed this survey you will be directed to Hamilton's coaching sign up page.  You will need to create a username and then you can sign up for your preferred coaching site and time.  Remember, sites & times are done on a first come first serve basis, so sign up early. 
3)  Attend Orientation.  You MUST attend the Project SHINE training and orientation on Sunday February 3rd from 2-5 in the Red Pit.  At the training, you will receive all the information to begin coaching the following week.  
4)  Begin Coaching!  The first week of coaching will be the week of February 4.  
5)  Contact the SHINE Co
