Student Research OpportunitiesLevitt Research Fellowships To enhance student research around issues of public affairs, the Levitt Center funds student-faculty research through its Levitt Research Fellows Program. The program is open to all students who wish to spend the summer working in collaboration with a faculty member on an issue related to public affairs. Students receive a summer stipend and spend ten weeks in the summer working intensively with a faculty mentor. Those selected for the program are required to provide a written assessment of their work at the completion of the summer, and also participate in a poster session in the fall. Levitt Fellows are automatically eligible to participate in the Levitt Scholars Program, in which they discuss their research in local high schools. Community Research and Service Fellowships Each year the Levitt Center awards Community Service Fellowships to Hamilton students that allow them to become involved in projects which directly impact the local community. Judith Owens-Manley, the Director for Community Research, supervises and trains these students. More about Community Service Fellowships...
