India Program Costs
Students participating in the India program pay their regular home-campus comprehensive fees. The comprehensive fee covers tuition, all room and board, all group travel in India, most reading materials, and program-integrated field components.
If you receive financial aid, your normal financial aid is applied. Contact your Financial Aid Office if you would like information about additional loans for extra costs associated with studying on this program.
The fee does not cover:
- transportation to India. Your college may have financial aid available for the JFK - Delhi group flight.
- passport
- visa
- $150 as partial payment for reading materials
- immunizations
We estimate the required costs for the India Program to be $1,800 + your malaria prophylaxis. This does not include discretionary costs such as entertainment, souvenirs, and personal travel.
A non-refundable first payment of ($350 - $500, depending on your home campus policy) is to be made upon acceptance. The remaining sum must be paid upon receipt of bills from your college. Participants in the program will have incurred responsibility for the full cost once they have formally accepted enrollment. Refunds will be made in accordance with the policy outlined consortium agreement, minus any money that has been paid out on behalf of the student.
