Morris K. Udall Scholarship


DESCRIPTION

Supports students who have outstanding potential and who intend to pursue careers related to environmental issues and/or environmental public policy. Also, it supports Native Americans and Alaska Natives who intend to pursue careers in health care and tribal public policy. All majors are eligible, typical majors majors or areas of interest tned to include: environmental studies, the natural sciences, the social sciences. Designed for students who are commited to and who are actively involved in environmental activities.

ELIGIBILITY

US citizenship or permanent residency required. Open to sophomores and juniors; B average and upper fourth of class.

DURATION

One year.

DEADLINE

The official deadline is early March, campus deadline will be earlier.

AMOUNT

Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $5,000.

SELECTION PROCESS

Students must meet the stated scholarship requirements.
