- British Council: Lots of useful information regarding study in the UK, including an excellent links section
- British Council "Campus" Web site: Very "user-friendly" site with a virtual layout of a campus that you can click on to see information on welfare, institutions, finance, courses, etc.
- British Council's education Web site: A comprehensive data base of all universities and publicly funded programs along with links to the uniform application form for taught graduate and undergraduate programs.
- Higher Education Funding Council Web site: Ratings of teaching quality in various undergraduate programs
- Quality Assessment Review Board: Ratings of teaching quality in various undergraduate programs.
- Research Assessment Exercise Ratings: Ratings of research quality in various graduate programs.
- National Information Services and Systems:"On Course": The ultimate site for courses. Includes detailed profiles of the UK's major education establishments, with insights into academic strengths and student life, also has course profiles and quality assessments.
- UK Council for Overseas Student Affairs (recently renamed the Council for International Education: Useful advice for international students on subjects including immigration procedures, choosing courses, study methods in the UK, etc.

Includes an excellent searchable database of UK courses.
