Orientation Programs in Comillas and Nerja

The fall and spring terms begin with special 10-day orientation sessions in the towns of Comillas, on the northern coast of Spain, and Nerja, on the southern coast, respectively. This allows HCAYS students the experience of small community life in a picturesque village with its own beach and within easy reach of such sites as Santander, Santillana del Mar, and the Picos de Europa (in the fall orientation) and of Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, and the Alpujarras (in January). Both the Comillas and the Nerja arrangements include daily classes in language and civilization, followed later by a series of activities with Spanish students in Madrid.
