Adirondack Adventure
An exciting week at the Glen House. The big doors are in and the walls inside have sheetrock and mud up, so the inside has the feel of a finished product. Outside, the recycled plastic and wood pulp decking is going down, and the extra door has been added to allow the ski clubs to come and go. The shaved logs arrived for the porch, too.

As always, click on an image for a bigger version.

Behind door number one (left) we have ski club access to the basement. Door number 2 (right) goes straight into the equipment room.

The doors are in, and they are elegently tall. The deck is a deep red that will fade over time to a cedar colour. It is going to be an enormous open space.

Looking in to the equipment room, where the counter will be. The brick chimney is still there and looking better than before

These are the cedar logs coming off the back of the truck. They're about eight feet long and will be the vertical supports for the porch

Red Pine logs, just like telephone poles but without the chemicals, coming off the trailer. Very heavy, these, and still sticky from being hand stripped that morning. They will be used as beams for the porch and canoe leanto.
