ALEXANDER HAMILTON BIRTHDAY PARTIES & EVENTS

On October 15th, recent Hamilton alumni and soon-to-be Hamilton grads met in Manahattan to chat and mingle about the experience that is living and working in New York City. Alumni were able to catch up with old friends and also provide valuable advice to Hamilton seniors. The event was a great opportunity for the almost graduates to learn what it is like to live in and be successful in NYC.

On January 14th, the Hamilton alumni base in Washington DC came together to celebrate Alexander Hamilton's birthday. It was a great opportunity for past and present students to mingle and catch up on what is new in their lives and at Hamilton College. I was able to discuss current events with several alumni including George D. Baker (Class of 1974), Josie M. Collier (Class of 1997), and Dave Steadman (Class of 2003), just to name a few.

Alumni from the Baltimore, Maryland area gathered together at the B & O American Brasserie for a lively cocktail party to celebrate the birthday of Hamilton College's namesake on January 14.  The setting just off the newly renovated original headquarters of the B & O railroad company was excellent to celebrate Hamilton's birthday.  Blue and Buff cake was served accompanied by a round of happy birthday Alexander.  Alumni and current students from around the area got to know one another and catch up on current events on campus, old professors, and the work of HALT.  Mr Robert McGowan was a gracious host and did a great job planning.
