The first Senior Gift Campaign was in 1982 and achieved an impressive 61% participation. Since then classes have challenged themselves to out perform their predecessors. For the past fourteen years the senior class has participated consistently above 90%. The current record is held by the Class of 2007, who blew away all records with 97.6% participation. As a result, the class is currently the proud holder of the coveted President's Cup, which is given to the class with the highest senior gift participation.
The Senior Gift Campaign is managed by student volunteers with administrative support from the Office of Annual Giving. Committee members are representatives to their classmates collecting gift ideas, answering questions and providing periodic updates on the Campaign, in addition to soliciting classmates for gifts. The success of the Senior Gift relies on committed and motivated Committee members who can reach out to and connect with every member of their class.
