CELEBRATE WITH SONG AT THE SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE
The mixed-voices Reunion Choir, under the direction of Professor of Music and Director of Choral Programs G. Roberts Kolb, will rehearse and perform. Rehearsals are scheduled for Saturday at 4:45 p.m. and Sunday at 9:50 a.m. in the Chapel. All alumni, spouses, children and guests who enjoy singing are invited to join. No auditions, just good music and great fun.
In addition, the Baldwin Choir (male voices) will rehearse and perform under the direction of R. Douglas Sheldon '63. Rehearsals are scheduled for Saturday at 8:45 a.m. and Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the Chapel. Both choirs will sing at the Service of Remembrance on Sunday morning.
CONTINENTAL CANES
Members of the Class of 1969 will be awarded continental canes, a tradition established by the Class of 1959 on the occasion of its 40th reunion. The head of the cane forms a tri-corner hat in honor of Baron von Steuben, who served as a drillmaster of Washington's Continental Army and who laid the cornerstone of the Hamilton-Oneida Academy in 1794. Graduating seniors have received canes with their diplomas since 1977.
50TH REUNION MEDALLIONS
Special medallions are presented at registration to all alumni who are celebrating their 50th reunion. Please congratulate Class of 1959 alumni wearing these medals.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Make Reunions '09 a family vacation! While you take advantage of your reunion class dinner on Saturday evening, your children can meet new friends and enjoy a fun-filled program of their own. Children's Conference Care, Inc. (CCCI) will provide on-site childcare for children ages 3 through 12 in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. On Saturday evening, June 6, childcare will be available from 5 p.m.-midnight. Cost is $58 per child with dinner and snacks provided. Many who participate in CCCI programs have compared their experience to attending summer camp. The staff, most of whom are teachers, know how to make every child feel safe and secure. CCCI provides a wide variety of age-appropriate activities. Children will have the opportunity to engage in sports, arts and crafts, and games.
Why leave campus at the end of the day? You are invited to return to the residence halls for a nostalgic and economical weekend. Keep in mind that there are still some bunk beds, shared bathrooms and the possibility of warm weather without air conditioning or cool weather and the need for extra blankets. Whenever possible, classes are housed together.
If you prefer off-campus accommodations, contact BTI, the College's travel agency, at 800-472-7447 for assistance with hotel/motel reservations, as well as airline and/or car rental reservations. Off-campus accommodations are limited, so plan early.
RING THAT BELL!
Join the College in honoring Charles T. Bates '53 when he is presented with the Bell Ringer Award at the annual meeting of the Alumni Association on Saturday in the Chapel. The Bell Ringer Award is presented each year at Reunions in recognition of contributions made to the College, its alumni and the community.
MAKING AN EXTRA EFFORT FOR REUNIONS
Thanks to the direction, creativity and energy of the volunteer committees, Reunions '09 promises to be a wonderful weekend. Reunion volunteers join the Hamilton staff in encouraging the fullest participation in this reunion year, from joining us on the Hill June 4-7 to participating as donors in the reunion gift effort.
Every Annual Fund gift supports today's students. Your participation is more crucial than ever during this time of economic uncertainty. To make a reunion gift to the Annual Fund online visit www.hamilton.edu/makeagift or call our secure toll-free number, 866-729-0315. Please be sure to be counted with your classmates in your reunion gift totals.
