2. When your e-mail window appears, type only "subscribe SPORTSNEWS your name" (subscribe SPORTSNEWS Alexander Hamilton) within the body of the message. (In order for listserv to recognize your subscription, be sure that your name and e-mail address are in the "From" field of the message.)
3. After sending the above e-mail, you'll receive an e-mail from the listserv computer, requesting confirmation of your subscription. (The sender will be identified as "1.8c".) In order to complete your subscription you need to reply to this e-mail by typing "ok" in the body of the message.
