In addition to the full-time training staff, a dedicated group of student first responders assist in the daily operations of the sports medicine facility. These students are the cornerstone of our operations, we could not provide quality care without these individuals.
The program is under the direction of head certified athletic
trainer Scott Siddon. Siddon is in his 17th year at Hamilton. He
graduated with a bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland in
1992. Siddon went on to earn his master's from the University
of Oregon in 1994. He and his wife, Cindy live in Clinton with their two children, Mackenzie and Cooper.

Assistant certified athletic trainer Pat Giruzzi is in his 13th
year on the staff. Giruzzi received his bachelor's degree from
Elmira College in 1998. Pat became a Registered Orthopedic
Technologist (ROT) in 2007 and is skilled in casting and brace fabrication. He and his wife Wendy reside in Utica along with their two children Patrick and Parker.

Steph is in her first year as an assistant at
Hamilton and has been a certified athletic trainer since 2008. Kowell received her bachelor's degree in physical education with an emphasis in athletic training from Suny Brockport in 2008 and earned her master's in education from the Old Dominion in 2010. Stephanie has recently worked at Farleigh Dickinson University and hails from the Syracuse, NY area.
