Overview
The Hamilton College men's soccer team will be led by 11 seniors in 2009. Seven starters return, including the top two scorers, from 2008. The four captains are forward Paul Moakler '10, defender Billy Ford '10 and midfielders Sam Dwyer '10 (pictured) and Jon Sanford '11. Sanford is the first junior captain in head coach Perry Nizzi's 12 years at Hamilton. Dwyer has been all-Liberty League honorable mention each of the past two years. The Continentals have been great under Nizzi, who won his 100th game at Hamilton last year. Hamilton has made four NCAA Division III tournament and six Liberty League tournament appearances, captured two league regular season titles and won the league tournament twice. The Continentals accomplished all these things since the turn of the century. The team aims to add to its totals this year.
