Introduction to Fitness- Beginners strongly encouraged!Open to: Faculty and Staff onlyWednesdays at 12:10 CWB Dance Studio Instructor: Lisa Coleman ZumbaOpen to: Students, Faculty and staffTues/Fri at 12:10 CWB Dance Studio Thurs at 4pm CWB Multi purpose room Instructor: Rita Ashton Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements. This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training. The cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that include body sculpting, which targets areas such as gluteals, legs, arms, core, and the most important muscle in the body, the heart! The basic steps formula makes it easy for any fitness level. Zumba is "Exercise in Disquise". So ditch the workout, and join the party! Core TrainingOpen to: Students, Faculty and StaffMeets Mondays and Wednesdays. 6:15-7pm CWB Multi purpose room Instructor: Colleen Thieme Strengthening for abdominals and back, incorporating balance and whole body conditioning. Cardio Pump and CoreOpen to: Faculty and StaffTuesdays and Thursdays at 12:10 CWB Multi Purpose Room Instructor: Deborah Burkhart This is a combination, crazy-mixed-up-class of heart pumping cardio, muscle toning using free weights and ending with core/ stretching/ balancing work. Cardio component will pull from a combination of floor cardio and step. The last portion will use techniques from Yoga, Pilates and Stability ball...each class will be a bit different.....come ready to have fun and expect a total body workout! Body Bar w/BallOpen to: Faculty and StaffWednesdays at 12:10 CWB Multipurpose Room Instructor: Lisa Magnarelli Ad some variety to your workout by using a weighted bar, hand weights and a fitness ball to alternate strength training and cardio routines. Class begins at 12;10 and ends at 12:55, great for employees who are crunched for time. Clss ends with toning, abs and stretch. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged to try this class.
