Welcome to the News section of the Business Office's Student Accounts website.  Here you can view our monthly billing messages that pertain to upcoming deadlines, important information regarding the charges or credits on the bill, or information about the services offered by the Business Office.

Student account monthly statements are available to view online and you must sign up. Click on Net Pay for detailed instructions.


IMPORTANT ISSUES AT THIS TIME

Registration Fee- A registration fee of $500, deductible from the fall tuition bill, is required of all students who intend to return to Hamilton for the coming academic year.  This fee will be billed to the student's account in March and is due on April 1.  Students may not preregister or participate in the housing lottery until the deposit is paid.  It is nonrefundable after May 1.

Late Charges - A late fee of $100 is assessed if payment is not received by the start of classes.  An additional fee of $200 will be assessed if the amount due for the semester is not paid by October 1, 2011 for the Fall Semester and March 1, 2012 for the Spring Semester.

Form 1098-T  - Hamilton College mails form 1098-T to each student's permanent address by January 31 each year. 

Your form will have an amount in Box 2.  This amount represents the actual tuition and student activity fee that was billed (not PAID) in the calendar year 2011.

Form 1098-T is not available online.

If you graduated from Hamilton in 2011, you will not be receiving a 1098-T tax form for the year 2011.  We generate the forms based on when we billed tuition.  Since we billed tuition for the Fall 2010 semester in July of 2010, and we billed for the Spring 2011 in December of 2010, the 2010 tax form is the last one you will receive.
