This Bicentennial Initiatives Celebration performance is a 76-minute multimedia presentation that was created and produced by Associate Professor of Theatre Mark Cryer and loosely based on the College’s 200-year history as chronicled in a soon-to-be-published book by James L. Ferguson Professor of History Maurice Isserman. Cryer served as master of ceremonies and actor for the presentation, which also included a welcome from Jeff Little ’71, chair, Bicentennial Initiatives; performances by the College Hill Singers, Ileana Becerra ’11 and Kadahj Bennett’12; videos produced by independent film producer David Gaynes ’99; and speeches by Associate Professor of Art Rebecca Murtaugh and President Joan Hinde Stewart.
