Athletic Team Tryouts: Testing for cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball may be held on Thursday, August 27. The first practice date for those sports will be on Friday, August 28th. Testing for crew, golf and tennis may be held on Wednesday, August 26 after 4pm at a time that does not conflict with Orientation activities.  Practices for crew, golf and tennis may begin Thursday, August 27.  Football may test on Sunday, August 30th and begin practice on Monday, August 31st.  Please consult with the respective coach for more information.
 
College I D Cards – The Hill Card
If you did not submit a picture for your ID card, please stop by Beinecke Student Activities Village between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 to have your photo taken and receive your Hill Card (you will need it to eat!).
 
College Store:

The College Store is located in the basement of Bristol Center. Regular hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-2pm. Extended hours begin August 22 & 23: 9am-6pm, August 24: 9am-6pm, August 25: 9am-9pm, August 26: 9am-6pm, August 27 & 28 9am-7pm and August 29: 10am-6pm. Emerson Gallery Exhibitions:
The gallery currently features the following three exhibitions:
-private (dis)play: Contemporary Artists' Sketchbooks
-Oliver Herring: Video Sketch
-William Palmer: Drawing from Life
The exhibitions will open August 24th and close on January 3, 2009.
 
Gym Lockers:
Students who wish to be assigned gym lockers should visit the equipment issue room on the lower level of the Alumni Gymnasium. Lockers will be issued Monday, August 24, from 10 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m.
 
Information Technology Services (ITS):
In your Orientation Packet you will find the following items:
-- Hamilton Network Account ID and Password to access your e-mail and all other ITS network services. On the back side of sheet is how to connect your computer to the Hamilton network.(This is the same username and password that you received during the summer for on-line advising and e-mail account access.)
-- A network cable to connect to the wired connection.
The process to connect to the network is simple; you will be able to do it yourself in 5 minutes. If you have problems connecting to the secure wireless network you will be asked to call the Help Desk and schedule an appointment time.

Mail Center:
Your mailbox number and combination can be located online via the Mailbox Information
Link on your Transition Page. If you have any problems, stop by the Mail Center for assistance. Please have your Hill Card with you. Mailbox combination information cannot be
released if you do not have your Hill Card. Mail sent to you on campus must be addressed as follows:

Music Auditions:
Auditions for the College Orchestra, Chamber Music Ensembles, Choir and College Hill Singers will be held during Orientation. Sign up in advance for an audition time (instrumentalists outside List 233; singers outside Schambach 208). Auditions for the Jazz Ensemble will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 4 p.m. on the Wellin Hall stage. Contact the ensemble conductors for further information.
