Financial AidThe cost of graduate school, on top of the cost of an undergraduate education, may appear daunting to many students. Tuition for public graduate institutions generally run from $8,000-$12,000 per year, while the costs of private institutions are usually between $15,000 and $20,000 annually. But don't despair because there are numerous resources which provide financial support for students in need. In addition, many large universities offer students the chance to work their way through the graduate program by participating in assistantships or fellowships. Although the costs and opportunities at different schools vary, and some aid packages may include loans, there is a way for every student to afford graduate school if they have the desire to go.
