You may choose to participate in one of two pre-orientation programs, Adirondack Adventure or USE.  These programs begin on campus on Friday, August 15. Students who choose to participate in Adirondack Adventure or USE  should arrive any time on Wednesday, August 13 or Thursday, August 14.

Please note that international students are guaranteed space in these programs as well as financial aid; these programs are highly recommended!

Students who participate in AA and USE are welcome to join International Student Orientation upon arrival back to campus on Friday, August 22.

Arrival for International Student Orientation:
Students who will not do Adirondack Adventure or USE should arrive in time to participate in the International Student Orientation, which begins on Thursday, August 21, two days before the general new student orientation.  You should arrive on Tuesday, August 19 or on Wednesday, August 20

International student arrivals are limited to the above dates. Shuttle transportation from Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, NY and the Amtrak Train/Greyhound Bus Station in Utica, NY to the Hamilton College campus will be available on these dates only.  If you arrive on an earlier day, we cannot guarantee that your dorm room will be ready, nor can we provide transportation to the College.

If you plan to arrive prior to these dates, you and your family will wish to stay at a hotel near the college until your room on campus is ready. Please feel free to contact Regina Johnson for recommended places to stay in the area.
