Christian Johnson Hall, home of the Emerson Gallery
The Emerson Gallery is located in Christian A. Johnson Hall on the campus of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. Admission to the exhibitions and special events is free and open to the public.


Gallery hours:

Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.

UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS

August 25, 2008 - January 4, 2009

Hamilton's Emerson Gallery presents three exhibitions. The trio includes an exhibition of masterworks of traditional painting and calligraphy from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and two exhibitions of works by contemporary artists. Together, these exhibitions present a conversation about current trends in Chinese art, globalization and artistic identity, and definitions of traditional and contemporary.
