Since the beginning of mankind's existence, the cosmos have inspired us. The Emerson Gallery will explore this fascination through the eyes of ancient cultures, scientists, and contemporary artists and musicians with four concurrent exhibitions featuring Hamilton College alumni, faculty, and students.
On view will be works by contemporary glass artist Josh Simpson '72; collaborative video and musical compositions by Leonard C. Ferguson Professor of Music Sam Pellman, Miranda Raimondi '08, and Lauren Koss '00; scientific prints and photographs from the Christian Henry Peter's Papers in the Hamilton College Library Archives; and Maya and Aztec art from the permanent collection of the Emerson Gallery.
