Mission

The Fred L. Emerson Gallery, in furtherance of the educational goals of Hamilton College, is committed to the acquisition, preservation and exhibition of works of art in accordance with the highest applicable museum standards. While the ultimate purpose of the Gallery is to increase the educational scope and opportunity for appreciation of the fine arts by Hamilton's students, it also seeks to enrich campus cultural life in general, as well as contribute to the cultural enrichment of the surrounding community.
