Wireless Network Expansion Project

ITS is pleased to announce that, as a result of a generous gift from an alumnus, wireless network access has been expanded campus wide. This expansion also includes a significant enhancement to the security of information transmitted wirelessly.

Highlight of the project include:

1. Coverage to almost all indoor and outdoor areas of campus.
2. Secure wireless transmission of information for members of the  
    Hamilton community.
3. Limited "open/unsecured"  access in some public areas for 
    visitors.
4. Flexibile and manageable design.
