An anti-virus program the College offers free of charge that can guard against and remove viruses, worms and trojans. You may use another anti-virus program such as Norton or McAfee, however, you must have an up-to-date anti-virus package to stay on the network. Most anti-virus programs including Sophos will continuously scan your computer searching for malicious programs. Anti-virus programs DO NOT protect you from spyware and adware.
