Our Staff

Stephen Stemkoski, Director, Human Resources, ensures that the activities of the Human Resources function are aligned with the mission and strategic plan of Hamilton College. Steve works with the Human Resources team to facilitate an employment lifecycle for all College employees which is positive, enriching and fair. Included in this employment lifecycle are activities such as selection and staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, and policy and procedure development and interpretation. Carol Bennett, Associate Director , Human Resources, is responsible for the recruitment and employment of non-faculty employees; oversight of the Staff Classification and Compensation Program; development of employee training programs and coordination of employment visas. In addition, please contact Carol to report a job related illness or injury, file a disability claim or to request a loan from The Love Fund. Luann Zaleski, Benefits Specialist, administers the employee benefits program offered by the College. Contact Luann at (315) 859-4689, or lzaleski@hamilton.edu if you have any questions regarding benefit eligibility or coverage, need assistance with an insurance claim or need to report a change in your personal information.
   
Lindsay Varnum, Human Resources Coordinator, provides general support to the office; processes employment applications and responds to general inquiries regarding employment opportunities, as well as College programs and policies; process student employment paperwork and coordinates requests for temporary support.
