Current ProjectsCram and ScramIn May 2008, the Recycling Task Force began the first annual Cram and Scram Reuse Program. Recycling Task Force volunteers held a sale of collected dorm furnishings, electronics, kitchen supplies, and school supplies in late August 2008. The sale went amazingly well, as nearly everything was sold and there were many satisfied customers. For more information, please click here. Plastic Bag RecyclingHamilton has begun a partnership with Hannaford Supermarket in Clinton to recycle plastic bags and wraps from students, faculty, staff, and the athletic department. Watch for a plastic bag recycling bin coming soon. Programs in the WorksAdditionally, the Recycling Task Force is working on a number of other projects to improve recycling rates and increase recycling education on the Hamilton campus. Check back for updates on these projects! |
