Admission and Seating for Faculty, Staff and Students:

Most of the Field House will be reserved for Hamilton students and employees. In order to access the Hamilton section, students and employees will be asked to show a current Hamilton ID and will be admitted to the Field House through the Emerson Lobby. (The Emerson Lobby is the entrance closest to the Athletic Offices and the Bristol Pool.) Your Hamilton ID card will only admit the holder of the card. Guests must present a Friend & Family Seating Pass (or Hamilton Facility ID), but do not need to enter with a card holder.

We will have staff on hand to begin forming a line in front of the lobby at 4:30 p.m., and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Hamilton students and employees MUST enter by 6:45 p.m. At that time any available seats will be released to the general public. The Emerson Lobby doors will "close" at 6:45, and you will be directed to the general public entrance.

Parking:

The Field House Parking Lot will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday. We ask that employees and their guests park at the Skenendoa Golf Club, the Root Extension Lot or North Lot. Again, this will help you avoid the traffic and congestion of the general public lots. Several College vans will provide shuttle service from these lots to bring Hamilton employees and guests to Dunham, close to the Emerson Lobby. IF YOU TAKE A SHUTTLE FROM THE VILLAGE OF CLINTON, you will have to cross through the general public line to enter through the Emerson Lobby. This is not advised.

Security and Handicapped Seating:

Hamilton College respects the right of community members to disagree with the views of invited speakers. A designated area has been established on the grassy area across from the main Fieldhouse entrance for demonstrators, who must abide by the rules of conduct. Consistent with College policies and out of respect for our speaker and those in attendance, individuals who disrupt the lecture will be removed.

For security reasons no backpacks, book bags or large items will be allowed into the field house. In addition, no photography or recording of any kind will be permitted.

We recognize that some guests may be in the Field House for an extended period of time. You will be permitted to bring an iPod or a laptop (or similar electronics) but they must be powered off when the Lecture begins.

If you or someone you know needs to make arrangements for a guest with a physical disability, please call 859-4529 for assistance.

Dining Before or After the Show:

Commons Dining Hall will be open for for dinner at 4 p.m. and the Howard Diner will remain open after the lecture.
