From computer and Internet access to student programs and activities, Hamilton provides a rich array of services for its 1,750 students.
Computing
More than 5,000 high-speed network connections are available on campus, including in every classroom, office, public space and residence hall room. Additionally, there are 45 wireless access points in select academic and administrative buildings, residence halls and public spaces. The network provides access to the Internet and campus resources such as the library catalogue from anywhere on campus, at any time of the day or night. For students who do not own a personal computer, the College maintains more than 400 Macintosh and Windows computers and laser printers in public and departmental computing facilities throughout campus.
Library
The College Library comprises the Daniel Burke Library and its two branches -- the Media Library and Music Record Library. The Library houses more than a half million volumes, with 2,500+ journals and newspapers. The Library also subscribes to over 150 research databases and provides access to over 10,000 full text electronic publications. The electronic resources are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, both on and off campus. Materials not owned by the Library may be obtained through Interlibrary Loan.
Clubs and Organizations
Approximately 80 student clubs and organizations address student interests in everything from music to religion to politics to social causes. Among the most popular are the Outing Club and HAVOC (Hamilton Action Volunteers Outreach Coalition)
