Good at coordinating people? Like to serve directly? Become a site coordinator!
HAVOC's most valuable direct-service volunteer is the site coordinator. Responsible for ensuring the sites run reliably, site coordinators are ambassadors in the community of both the College and HAVOC, and provide leadership and organization to our project's individual volunteers.
"I really enjoyed my time as a site coordinator, because it allowed me to regularly volunteer with something I was interested and gain valuable leadership experience at the same time." - Phill Hoying '09, former site coordinator for Music Tutoring
Site coordinators are interviewed for their positions by a sub-committee of the executive board to ensure a creative, fun, yet qualified individual leads each project. Interviews are held at the end of the semester or as needed to keep projects running.
