During clinic hours, medical and nursing care is provided. Students are seen by appointment with allowances made for emergencies. There is no fee for evaluation by the staff. However, students will incur charges for medications and in-house labs. Students are responsible for charges incurred by referrals to specialists, hospital emergency rooms and outside labs.
Bills for health center charges are sent weekly to the Business Office and are applied to the tuition account at a later date. The date the bill is applied to the tuition account is not the same date the student was seen at the health center. The students are provided with the original copy of the bill. If a copy is needed, a medical release must be signed by the student to send a copy of the bill home.
Medical information is strictly confidential and may be released only with the written permission of the student. The medical record is not accessible to anyone other than the professional staff of the Student Health Center. (In case of a serious medical emergency, family and the Dean of Students' office will be notified.)

Students who do not cancel a scheduled appointment before the time of the appointment will incur a $10.00 fee for a "No Show" appointment! To avoid the charge, please call and cancel your appointment.
