The Hill Card is not only your college ID, but it can also serve as a Discover® debit card. Employees who want to obtain the new Hill Card with the Discover® card feature should contact Auxiliary Services (Hill Card Office) at x4372.
If you want to use the Money Network® enabled Discover® debit card feature, follow the steps below.
1.Call 1-800-822-4283 to activate the service and select a PIN. Be sure to use the 16-digit bank card number shown on the front of your card to activate.
2.If you plan to request DIRECT DEPOSIT of your payroll check (or a portion of your payroll check) to your Discover® debit account or plan to make deposits to the card, you must upgrade your account. Customer service will request your Social Security Number and address as part of the upgrade process. Or, you can upgrade your account online at www.moneynetworkedu.com. The upgrade process can take up to 24 hours to process. Once your account has successfully upgraded, you will see an option for Direct Deposit listed in the "Money In" box when you log into your account at www.moneynetworkedu.com.
3.Beginning in April (date to be announced), Money Network will implement several enhancements tot he Money Network service. All cardholders who have activated or want to activate the Discover® card feature will be required to set up a unique User ID, password and security questions (for ID/password recover purposes). This will allow cardholders to log into the Money Network website using their ID and password rather than the 16-digit Discover® card number.
