Out big events of this semester are the Banff Mountain Film Festival on 16 February and the visit of Andrew Skurka, legendary long distance hiker on the 28th of same.

The Hamilton Outing Club (HOC) is the largest club on campus. We offer equipment rentals during open hours, weekend trips and expeditions during longer breaks. Backcountry cooking in the fall brings lots of people to the Glen House on Thursday nights, and trip leader training happens during the fall. Winter evenings bring advanced workshops and interesting talks, plus annual events like the Banff Mountain Film Festival.
Over the longer breaks, we offer trips to such far-flung places as North Carolina, Arizona, California, Virginia, the Everglades, and famously, Ecuador.
