Medical Insurance 

The College offers eligible employees two types of health insurance plans through MVP Health Care: a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) with a national provider network and a Point of Service (POS) with a regional network of providers.

Employees may waive coverage through the College and receive an opt-out credit equivalent to $1,000 a year for full-time employees, provided they can produce evidence of coverage under another health insurance plan.

The College's contribution to health insurance coverage is based on one's salary and the coverage selected. Contribution rates are available by selecting the appropriate links above. Enrollment forms and lists of participating providers are available from Human Resources. Participating providers may also be located through MVP's website. Select "Doctor Search" and then the type of plan (MVP Preferred PPO or Point of Service (POS).

Individuals may elect a change in their health insurance coverage during the College's open enrollment period in November of each year. Changes will become effective on January 1.
