Namrata Idnani(Nimi) is an AmeriCorps VISTA and the Project SHINE Coordinator. Nimi is a graduate of Cornell University ('09) with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She majored in Government and Asian Studies with a special interest in Southeast Asia and immigration policy. Nimi is experienced in community outreach and student leadership development through her participation in "Let's Get Ready," a tutoring program for underprivileged high school students in New York City. She has also volunteered with political campaigns.
Jordan Davis is an AmeriCorps VISTA and Coordinator for the Youth Development Project. Jordan graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University in May 2009 and from Auburn University with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation in 2007. He completed field work in a college counseling center and has an interest in research on college drinking and model interventions. Jordan is experienced in community outreach and counseling through working with children in summer camps and volunteering with Hurricane Katrina victims and with the Humane Society. He is also a competitive runner and was a student athelete during college and graduate school.
