Jennifer Potter Hayes K '73 Awarded Fulbright Grant to Korea

Jennifer Potter Hayes K '73 has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar to the U.S.-Korea International Education Administrators program. Hayes is currently employed as a program developer and career advisor at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where she works with graduate international students. She was formerly Director of Alumni Programs at Hamilton College and prior to that, Registrar.

David Chanatry '80 Honored by Broadcast Education Association Media Arts Festival

Hamilton alumnus David Chanatry '80, a former NBC news producer, has been recognized by the Broadcast Education Association Media Arts Festival for two stories he reported from the Balkans last year. Chanatry, assistant professor of journalism at Utica College, won the audio short form category award for his coverage of an Albanian youth group. He also won the radio hard news category award for a story about lead poisoning affecting Roma refugees in Kosovo. Chanatry reported the award-winning stories for Public Radio International's "The World."
