The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Williamstown, Mass., to take on the Williams College Ephs in a 2015 NESCAC Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinal on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m.

NESCAC Championship quarterfinal preview

The highest remaining seed following Saturday’s action will host the semifinals and final on Nov. 7 and 8.

Hamilton (7-5-3, 3-4-3 NESCAC) is seeded eighth for the championship and is in the event for the first time since 2012. The Continentals played Williams to a 1-1 tie in the 2011 quarterfinals at Williams but the Ephs advanced to the semifinals on penalty kicks.

Hamilton has been on a roll for the past month. The Continentals have won three straight games and are 7-1-2 in their last 10 with the lone loss an overtime setback on the road. Becca Rees '16 is tied for the first place on the program's all-time list with 16 career assists.

Nationally ranked No. 4 Williams (13-1-1, 9-1-0) is the championship's top seed. The Ephs have reached the NESCAC final in each of the last eight years with titles in 2004, 2007 through 10 and 2012. Williams just lost its first game this season on Tuesday -- a 2-0 setback at Middlebury College -- after wins in 13 of the Ephs' first 14 contests. Williams edged Hamilton 1-0 at home in the season opener for both teams way back on Sept. 8.
