Samantha Graber ’16 presented a poster titled “The Hardscrabble Wind Farm in Herkimer County: A Five-Year Update” at the 41st Annual Northeastern Storm Conference held in Saratoga Springs on March 4-6. The work she presented was based on her senior thesis with Prof. Cynthia Domack in the Hamilton College Geosciences Department.

The daughter of Chip and Rhonda Graber of Roseland, N.J., she will graduate this May with a major in environmental studies (geosciences track) and a minor in dance.The American Meteorological Society, the National Weather Association, and Lyndon State College sponsored the conference and participants included personnel from the broadcast industry, research community, military (202 Weather Flight Massachusetts Air National Guard), government (NOAA's National Weather Service), and private sector.

Graber is a four-year member of the Hamilton College Women’s Basketball Team and served as team captain this year. She is also a Hamilton College WHCL Radio host.
