NESCAC Football All-Conference Release
Wide receiver Charles Ensley '17 (San Diego, Calif./Rancho Bernardo HS) and fullback Jason Nastovski '18 (Dolgeville, N.Y./Dolgeville Central HS) were voted to the first team on offense, and offensive lineman Dylan Berardelli '16 (Dalton, Pa./Abington Heights HS) made the second team. The all-conference honor is the first for all three players.
Ensley enjoyed a breakout season for the Continentals in 2015. He ranked second in the NESCAC in four receiving categories including yards (665), yards per game (83.1), yards per catch (18.0) and touchdowns (6). Ensley finished eighth in the conference with 37 catches. He was named the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 1 after his two touchdown receptions helped Hamilton end a 25-game losing streak with a victory at Williams College.
Nastovski ranked fifth in the conference with five rushing touchdowns. The blocking back added 45 carries for 157 yards and caught six passes for 40 more yards. He ran for a touchdown in each of the Continentals' last five games, including a home win against Bates College in the season finale on Nov. 14 when he established a career high with 58 rushing yards.
Berardelli is the first Hamilton guard on the all-conference team in 14 years. He helped lead an offensive line that paved the way for the Continentals' running backs to run for more than 100 yards twice in the last three games. The highlight of the season for the offensive line was a 17-play drive (all rushes) that covered 83 yards and ran out the final 11 minutes of the fourth quarter in the 14-0 win against Bates.
