Alexa Pujol stopped all 25 shots she faced to lead Trinity College to a 3-0 win over Hamilton College in a NESCAC game on Trinity's Williams Rink at the Koeppel Community Sports Center on Jan. 21.

Sarah Duncan, Dominique Di Dia and Emily Kleidon each scored a goal for the Bantams, who won their fifth game in a row. Britney Ryan, Samantha Edelson and Payton Sword were all credited with one assist.

Trinity (8-7-0 overall, 4-4 NESCAC) opened the scoring with 4:44 left in the first period when Duncan skated in alone on goal and lifted a shot into the top of the net. Di Dia doubled the lead on a power-play goal off an assist from Ryan with 2:03 left in the period. The Bantams led 2-0 at the first intermission.

Hamilton (6-8-0, 3-5) had a good opportunity to cut Trinity's lead in half with 2:20 left in the second when Nikki Haskins '14 skated in on a breakway. But Pujol was there to make the save and preserve the Bantams' two-goal lead through the second intermission.

Kleidon added an insurance goal at 10:11 of the third when she poked in a shot from in front. Becca Hazlett '13 finished with 24 saves for the Continentals.

Each team was credited with 27 shots. Trinity was 1-for-3 on the power play, while Hamilton was 0-for-4. The Bantams defeated the Continentals 3-1 Friday night, but Hamilton still leads the all-time series 15-12-1.

Hamilton hosts nationally ranked Middlebury College for a NESCAC game on Friday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m.
