Kim Goidell '13 is a team captain and three-year letter winner on the women's basketball team. Kim and her teammates go for their fourth straight win on Saturday, Dec. 8, when they host Alfred University for a non-conference game at 2 p.m. Last season as a junior, she led the NESCAC with 35 minutes played per game, and made the NESCAC winter all-academic team. Kim entered the week tied for sixth in the conference in steals per game and ranks second on the team in assists.

Jon Bon Jovi and The Kings of Suburbia played to a sold-out group of Hamilton alumni, parents and friends at New York’s Best Buy Theater on Dec. 5 in a benefit concert for scholarships and the arts at Hamilton. The DownBeat Keys, a Brooklyn-based hip-hop band featuring five Hamilton College alumni, opened for Bon Jovi.

John DiBartolomeo '13 poured in 17 points and dished out a game-high eight assists as nationally ranked No. 11 University of Rochester defeated Hamilton College 82-60 in a non-conference game at Hamilton’s Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Dec. 5.

Katie Zimmerman '13 posted her second hat trick of the season and Hamilton College defeated SUNY Potsdam 4-2 in a non-conference game at Hamilton’s Russell Sage Rink on Dec. 4.

Hamilton College guard Madie Harlem ’13 (Oneonta, N.Y./Oneonta HS) was selected the NESCAC women’s basketball player of the week on Dec. 3.

Hamilton College finished in second place out of three teams in the 2012 Hamilton Invitational, which was held at Bristol Pool on Dec. 1 and 2.
