Several prints by William R. Kenan Professor of Art Bruce Muirhead and Professor of Art William Salzillo are on display at the Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition in Peoria, Ill. Included in the exhibition are Muirhead’s “Secret Viewers” and “Fourth of July,” and “Nightingale” by Salzillo. Organized by Bradley University, the biennial juried show runs through April 15.

Associate Professor of Art Rebecca Murtaugh has the art installation “Confection” featured in The Stone Canoe 5: Signs of Life in Culture. The journal is an annual national publication of writing, art and ideas showcasing the work of emerging and established artists with a connection to Central New York. Lynette Stevenson curated the collection of visual artists; the journal was edited by Robert Colley '66 and published by Syracuse University.

Juror Jim Dine has selected prints by Professors of Art Bruce Muirhead and Bill Salzillo for the 2011 North American Print Biennial presented by the Boston Printmakers. Dine chose only 149 prints from more than 2,000 entries.

Hamilton’s Emerson Gallery, in conjunction with the college’s art department, will screen David Wojnarowicz’s 1989 film, A Fire In My Belly, on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 5 p.m. in the Kirner-Johnson Building’s Red Pit (Room 127). A panel discussion will follow. Both events are free and open to the public.

One of the priorities of the recently launched $117 million Bicentennial Initiatives campaign is construction of new art facilities that will include a studio arts building, a theatre complex, and a teaching museum on College Hill Road. P•P•O•W will present new work by Katharine Kuharic, the Kevin W. Kennedy Associate Professor of Art, in an exhibition opening at its new space on West 22nd Street in New York City on Jan. 27.
