Professor of Chinese De Bao Xu was appointed as visiting chair professor, member of the Council of Academic Policy, and research fellow at the Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, College of Humanities, Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai campus, for a period of three years beginning in May.

He was also invited to give a talk on "Using Modern Technology to Teach Language and Film Studies" at Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai campus, on May 8.
