Post-Graduate Fellowships
Levitt Social Innovation Post-Graduate Fellowship
The Levitt Social Innovation Fellowship provides funding to a graduating senior or recent graduate (a Hamilton alum who has graduated within three years) to develop and implement a social innovation venture that addresses persistent problems in disadvantaged communities. The project may be implemented as a nonprofit, a socially directed for-profit enterprise, a new program connected with an existing organization or some other appropriate model. National and international projects will be considered. Preference will be given to projects implemented in Oneida or Herkimer counties in New York State, and to proposals that use novel approaches and are scalable and sustainable. The term of the fellowship is for 12 months. Award: $25,000.
Levitt Public Service Post-Graduate Fellowship
The Levitt Social Sector Fellowship will provide supplementary income for a graduating senior who is pursuing work in the public sector, including local governments (city or county) or a local nonprofit. The recipient must have secured a job in the Central New York area and commit to working with the organization for a minimum of one year. Those who receive this fellowship are awarded $10,000.
