| 9 p.m. FAMILY WEEKEND JAZZ Fillius Events Barn We make a joyous return to the original melting pot of jazz, funk, and R&B with Wendell Brunious and the New Orleans Legends. Wendell is an internationally renowned trumpet artist and a bandleader with an engaging and welcoming personality. He currently serves as the music director of Preservation Hall in New Orleans. With a classic six piece instrumentation of trumpet, clarinet, trombone, and rhythm section, this ensemble will have the "joint-a-jumpin"! Sponsored by the Fillius Jazz Archive, hosted by Monk Rowe, The Joe Williams Director of the Fillius Jazz Archive. Free admission. |
