Hamilton College has been awarded a $1.975 million grant through New York State's Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program (HECap) to support continued renovations to Russell Sage Rink, the oldest continuously operating college hockey rink in the country and home to more than a century of Hamilton Hockey traditions.

With construction progressing steadily toward a January 2027 opening, Hamilton College has announced the name of its newest building: The Nye Center for Innovation and Technology. The name of the 41,000-square-foot facility celebrates its ties to a branch of the Burke and Harding families which has provided unwavering support to the College for six generations spanning more than a century.

And if you can’t decide between making a podcast or designing a 3D model for a final class project, venture into TECH Lab, Hamilton’s first makerspace, and learn to do both.

Bristol Swimming Pool recently underwent a $12.8 million renovation that included a total roof replacement as well as several major pool enhancements and equipment upgrades that make the facility more sustainable and accessible while providing a better experience for student-athletes, fans, and patrons.
