Group Therapy
Prospective group members are required to attend a pre-group information session. This is a brief meeting with the group leaders before group begins that provides information about the group, and helps determine if the group is a good fit for your needs. If you are interested in a group, please contact our Office Manager at 315-859-4340.
Spring 2026 Groups
Understanding Self & Others
Fridays, 2:30-4pm
Michael Saltzman, Ph.D. & Amanda Knapp, Psy.D.
This group is for individuals who are interested in learning more about their own identities, processing personal experiences, and better understanding different approaches to interpersonal interactions. Members can give and receive interpersonal feedback, examine patterns of interaction that may be impeding personal growth, practice new behaviors within the safety of the group space, and learn how to communicate more effectively both within and outside of the group.
Powering Down
Wednesdays, 3:30pm-4:15pm
Amanda Knapp, Psy.D.
Make space for self-care and emotion regulation by attending this weekly 45-minute group. Aspects of yoga cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and meditation are combined to provide students with a space to disconnect from external pressures, tune-in to what they are holding, and let go of stressors and burdens.
