Description: Prerequisites: Personal laptop (Mac or Windows PC) and Hamilton credentials (email ID and password). Register by January 31st for in-session file access practice. Hamilton’s Citrix system is for running statistical software and managing contents virtually from a remote Windows server managed by the College. Join us for a synchronous hands-on tutorial session on how to get started with Citrix for your data analysis and computing needs! Examples of the apps available through Citrix include, but are not limited to, R, SPSS, Stata, NVivo, Maple, MATLAB, and MAXQDA. In this workshop, you will install the Citrix app on your computer and register for Citrix access. Then, you will learn how to access files from your local computer, Hamilton’s Employee/Student Storage Server, and Academic Server through the Citrix system. Asynchronous Session: Don’t worry if you cannot attend the synchronous session!
