HillConnect Now Has Google Drive
by Jesse Thomas
In late April, Google announced it would be upgrading and re-branding Google Docs, now called Google Drive. Google Drive retains all the existing features of Docs and the following features will be added:
- 5GB of storage (up from one GB)
- support for more file formats
- applications for syncing the files to/from your computer
- apps for accessing files from a mobile device
You'll see an option to "Try Google Drive" when you use Google Docs. For a period of time, you'll be able to switch back to the "classic look" until the new service becomes permanent later this year. ITS is excited about these forthcoming changes and is busy getting up to speed on the new features. You can expect to hear more from us regarding the details in the near future.
