DK Lee ’17 presented at the 2016 Annual Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP) Conference in Providence, R.I., on March 23. The projects presented were developed throughout Lee’s year-long Instructional Technology Apprenticeship Program (ITAP) and reflected his experiences producing videos, identifying smartphone applications for higher education, and launching a presence on Snapchat for the Wellin Museum of Art.

Lee apprenticed under Educational Technologist Benjamin Salzman ’14, digital media specialist in Library and Information Technology Services (LITS).

ITAP is a program founded by educational technologists in the New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium, which includes Hamilton, Union, Skidmore and Hobart & William Smith Colleges and Colgate and St. Lawrence Universities. The program provides paraprofessional experience to students interested in instructional technology, including course support, professional development, pedagogy and networking.

Lee is an economics major and works as a LITS digital media intern. He is also a member of the Campus Activities Board and works as a freelance producer for the Communications Office.
