Matthew Plescia

Matthew is passionate about helping students discover their strengths and make the most of college. With nearly a decade of experience in higher education, he began as a peer advisor and has supported students at Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida SouthWestern State College, and Utah State University, where he most recently advised students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He holds a B.S. in Human Resource Management and an M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction: Educational Technology from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Matthew has contributed to the greater advising community, presenting research at the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), and has served as both a co-host and guest host of the Adventures in Advising podcast, sharing innovative approaches to student success.
